What’s the deal with guest posts?

Almost every day people write to me asking if they can guest post on my site. Most of these proposals, unfortunately, are copy/paste templates and the topics have nothing to do with my niche. For this reason I’m not accepting guest posts for the foreseeable future. If you are an exceptional writer with some real and demonstrated success/expertise I’d be happy to re-consider.

Do you do consulting work?

I very occasionally work with very cool companies who are looking to increase their sales using content based online marketing. I am very picky about who I work with but if you are a blog, small business or large company who is open to new ideas and a better online direction I’d love to hear from you.
